This is a sample of what I've been working on lately (somewhat unfinished). Enjoy!

landscapin'

For me, this summer has been about absorbing inspiration-- from anywhere I can find it. I've been spending more time reading/listening/writing things down, than I have actually painting. I still feel productive and I'm excited to actually sit down and put these concepts on canvas.

In my free time I've been working on a few landscapes, which usually aren't my favorite subjects to paint. But there is something really relaxing about painting natural scenes. Not for nothing, sitting at my easel after a long day at work and painting, regardless of the subject, really helps me to unwind. And I believe there's something to be said for that!
